"A Wild Ride with Savanna Sojourns — Unforgettable! If you're dreaming of a safari that feels like it was hand-scripted by National Geographic, Savanna Sojourns is your go-to. Every detail was immaculately handled. My guide could spot a leopard before I could even spot a tree. I saw the Big Five, plus cheetahs mid-hunt. The accommodations — cozy beds, roaring campfires, dinners under the stars."

"Our stay at Sopa Lodge was very comfortable — great service and beautiful views. We saw plenty of wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes and cheetahs. Our main goal was to see lions, and we were not disappointed — we spotted many of them, some very close to our vehicle. A memorable and well-organised experience. Would definitely recommend!"

"Precise, honest and professional — these are the three qualities I would describe Savanna Sojourns with. I travelled for business in Kenya and my company organised a safari with Savanna Sojourns. I really enjoyed everything from the food, hotel and the friendly environment. We saw a lot of animals which made everything amazing."

"Booked a family trip for our daughter's birthday. George was so kind to share all the information we needed. He was patient as we engaged him for close to a month before making the deposit. We appreciate everything — the hotel staff at Jambo Mara and our guide Peter were great and friendly. If you are looking for a safari in Kenya, try Savanna Sojourns and you will definitely enjoy it."

"Booked a solo trip to Maasai Mara at the Maisha Mara Camp. The process was seamless — I was already in Kenya when I booked! I really enjoyed the animals on safari. The hotel was cool with the best amenities as I requested. If you are considering a safari, contact Savanna Sojourns for a tailor-made plan. Thank you for the best reception."

"The ambience was peaceful, the rooms were comfortable, and we really enjoyed relaxing by the swimming pool after game drives. On the very first day we spotted many lions up close. The highlight was the full-day game drive where we saw crocodiles for the first time — what an incredible sight! Every moment was well spent. Highly recommend this safari experience."

From the iconic Maasai Mara to the turquoise shores of Diani and Watamu — discover Kenya's extraordinary diversity.

Maasai Mara
Wildlife Reserve
Maasai Mara
Kenya's crown jewel and one of the world's greatest wildlife spectacles. The Maasai Mara National Reserve covers 1,500 km² of open savanna and is home to the Big Five year-round. From July to October, witness the legendary Great Migration when over 1.5 million wildebeest and zebra thunder across the Mara River in dramatic crossings. The golden light of the Mara at dawn — with lion prides, cheetahs, and elephants moving across endless plains — is an experience that stays with you forever.
🦁 Big Five📅 Best: Jul–Oct🌿 1,500 km²
Lake Nakuru
National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park
Set in the heart of Kenya's Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Africa's most important rhino sanctuaries. Both black and white rhinos roam freely within its electric fence. The alkaline lake attracts vast flocks of pink flamingos that paint the shoreline in stunning shades. Lions, leopards, Rothschild giraffes, and large herds of buffalo complete one of Kenya's most compact and exciting park experiences. At just 188 km², you can cover it thoroughly in two days.
🦏 Rhino Sanctuary🦩 Flamingos📅 Year-round
Lake Naivasha
Freshwater Lake
Lake Naivasha
A serene freshwater lake at 1,884 metres in the Rift Valley, ringed by papyrus reeds, yellow-barked acacia forests, and flower farms. Lake Naivasha is one of Kenya's most beautiful spots and offers a gentler, more intimate wildlife experience. Hippos wallow along the shores, over 400 bird species have been recorded here, and boat rides at golden hour are unforgettable. Combine with a walking safari on Crescent Island — one of the only places in Kenya where you can walk freely among giraffes and zebras.
🦛 Hippos🐦 400+ Birds🚣 Boat Rides
Hells Gate
National Park
Hell's Gate National Park
One of Kenya's most unique parks — Hell's Gate is the only park where you can cycle and walk freely among wildlife without a vehicle. Dramatic red gorges carved by ancient volcanic activity, towering Fischer's Tower, geothermal hot springs, and roaming herds of zebra, giraffe, and buffalo make this one of East Africa's most scenic parks. The park inspired scenes from The Lion King. After cycling through the gorge, relax at the natural hot springs at Ol Karia — a truly memorable day.
🚲 Cycling Allowed🏔 Volcanic Gorges♨️ Hot Springs
Amboseli
National Park
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli is Africa's most photogenic park. Enormous elephant herds — including some of the largest tuskers left on the continent — roam the open plains beneath the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. At dawn, the light is extraordinary: elephants silhouetted against Africa's highest mountain, wading through marshes fed by underground streams from Kilimanjaro's glaciers. Amboseli also offers outstanding lion, cheetah, hyena, and Cape buffalo sightings in its open, easily photographed terrain.
🐘 Giant Tuskers🏔 Kilimanjaro View📅 Best: Jan–Mar, Jun–Oct
Tsavo East
National Park
Tsavo East
Kenya's largest national park — Tsavo East is vast, raw, and magnificently wild. The famous red-dusted elephants of Tsavo are iconic: huge herds that roll in the park's distinctive volcanic red soil, coating themselves entirely. The Galana River cuts through the park providing a lifeline for enormous crocodiles, hippos, and the wildlife that gathers at its banks. Yatta Plateau — the world's longest lava flow — stretches across the park. Tsavo East is for those who want Africa at its most untamed and unhurried.
🐘 Red Elephants🐊 Galana River🌿 13,747 km²
Tsavo West
National Park
Tsavo West
Tsavo West offers Kenya's most dramatic volcanic landscapes combined with exceptional wildlife viewing. The crystal-clear Mzima Springs — fed by volcanic rock filtering water from Kilimanjaro — are home to hippos and crocodiles you can view from an underwater observatory. Chaimu Crater offers panoramic views across the lava fields. Black rhinos, lions, leopards, and cheetahs roam freely. Tsavo West pairs beautifully with a Kenyan coastal retreat to Diani or Watamu, being just three hours from the beach.

Taita Hills
Wildlife Sanctuary
Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Taita Hills is one of Kenya's best-kept secrets. This private wildlife sanctuary sits in the Taita-Taveta region, linking Tsavo East and Tsavo West in a green, forested hillscape quite unlike anywhere else in Kenya. With no crowds and intimate luxury lodges offering extraordinary game viewing, Taita Hills delivers an exclusive, unhurried safari experience. The Taita Hills themselves are one of the world's biodiversity hotspots — the endemic birds and plant species found only here draw naturalists from around the world.

Diani Beach
Coastal Paradise
Diani Beach
Consistently rated among the best beaches in Africa, Diani is a 17-kilometre stretch of powder-white coral sand lapped by warm, impossibly turquoise Indian Ocean water. Swaying palms, offshore coral reefs teeming with marine life, world-class watersports, and luxury beach resorts make Diani the perfect conclusion to a Kenya safari. The combination of East Africa's finest game viewing followed by days on Diani's shores — sundowners with your toes in the sand — is the ultimate Kenyan luxury experience.
🏖 17km White Sand🤿 Coral Reefs🌊 Indian Ocean
Watamu
Marine Reserve
Watamu
Watamu is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on Kenya's north coast — a paradise of white sand, turquoise sea, and one of East Africa's richest marine ecosystems. The Watamu Marine National Park protects vibrant coral gardens, sea turtles, whale sharks, and over 600 species of fish. Snorkelling and scuba diving here is world-class. The ancient Gede Ruins — a Swahili city abandoned in the 18th century — lie just inland, adding a layer of history to this extraordinary coastal destination. Quieter and less developed than Diani, Watamu retains a magical, unhurried atmosphere.
